Post-Sophmore/Jr. Fellowships | |
The
department has always had a strong commitment to the training of
pathology to medical students and instituted post-sophomore/junior
fellowships when the department was formed. At that time, student
fellows actively participated in teaching activities and autopsies.
Today, we have expanded the experience to include both autopsy,
surgical pathology and laboratory medicine service rotations. Fellows
are also encouraged to pursue research interests. Post-sophomore
or junior year status in an accredited medical school is required
and a stipend of $16,000 is paid per year (plus fees and tuition).
